The Hartford Civil War Round Table held its 487th regular and annual dinner meeting on Monday April 20, 2009 In Farmington, Connecticut. Mr. Robert Dow Wolff of Simsbury, CT, who is the current President and one of the "Founding-Fathers," was honored with a 50 year membership pin.

The Hartford Civil War Round Table was established in 1958 and Mr. Wolff is the only "Founding Fathers" and the first member to reach the 50 year membership milestone.

The pin was presented by David M. Trudel, Treasurer along with other cards and gifts from the membership.


August 20, 2008 was the date set for the unveiling of the center piece in Hartford by Governor M. Jodi Rell. The Honor Guards were members of the Knights of Columbus and Re-enactors from the New England Brigade Officer's Corp, 8th, 11th, 27th Connecticut, and 79th New York Regiments Click here for photos of the event.
